A Gem of a Hotel. I stumbled upon this place on my trip to the San Juan's recently. Was able to book a last minute room in the Hotel de Haro mid July. The rooms in this historic hotel are very reasonable at $150/ night (probably some of the most reasonable on the island).

Roche Harbor on San Juan Island is probably the best island of the bunch. While one could stay in a more updated condo or suite you much stay at the historical Hotel De Haro. I stayed in the Presidential Suite which had it's own bathroom and a gorgeous view of the water. There are a total of 20 rooms but only 4 of them have bathrooms.
